Dennis and Carilyn Knill

Howdy!

My name is Dennis Knill and my better half is known as Carilyn. I was born in Denver in 1947 and Carilyn is a California girl. We moved to Apache Junction, Arizona from Colorado in 1998 seeking better jobs.

We were always interested in "living history". Carilyn was a volunteer docent and trainer for many years at the Molly Brown House Museum in Denver while I was a volunteer docent at the Four Mile Historic Park, the last stagecoach stop before Denver on the Smoky Hill Trail. After spending our weekends at these places, it was always a culture shock to go get into the car to go home.

We joined the Territorial Troupers in 2006 because we wanted to do more than just "dress up" when we visit Tombstone. We want to contribute to keeping the Old West alive for future generations, and entertain as well as educate. We found a bunch of folks of like mind and we look forward to many good times with good friends. See ya 'round.

Quick and Teach.
