Leonard Wayne Batson

I was born January 18, 1961 at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. When I saw my first western, my world opened up. Seeing Randolph Scott, Alan Ladd, John Wayne, Audie Murphy, and The Lone Ranger, and I wanted to be them. I dreamed of being on Trigger or Silver and fighting the bad guys. To this day when I see a western, my mouth gets dry and my palms sweat. At age seventeen, I took a stunt course, and in high school I acted in plays. Nearly 30 years later, I asked the right question of a friend of mine, and now I'm in a group called the Territorial Troupers. I have my own costumes, I'm making movies, and living the dream I had long ago. What more can a grown man ask for?

Follow your dreams...I am.
