Territorial Troupers - Arizona's Premiere Historical Reenactment Group

Sandy Cooper Biography Photo

Sandy Cooper

Greetings,

I was born in the Oregon Territory and traveled widely settling for many years in the Colorado Rockies. The 100 year blizzard of '03 drove me to warmer climes.

In the years proceeding and since my arrival in Tucson, Arizona Territory, I've been a shootist of small repute, SASS #34999, a dance hall darlin', a madam, a Spanish angel, a faro dealer and gambler, a soiled dove, a most proper lady and a brazen hussy. Most recently I've been performing under the name Arizona Annie, lady wing shot, in Dr. Will U. Killum Medicine Show and as an artiste in the neighboring towns of Old Tucson and Mescal. In Tombstone I've been called upon to perform on Allen Street and to jail law breaking tourists of which there seems to be a never ending supply.

Guns, Victorian fashion, and vintage jewelry are my passions.

Sincerely,
Sandy a.k.a. Lady Killer
