July 26th & 27th, 2008 - Shootout on Whiskey Row, Prescott, AZ. The Prescott Regulators and Their Shady Ladies relive Prescott’s Wild West Glory Days! Take a step back in time and experience Prescott’s Western heritage. The Prescott Regulators and Their Shady Ladies will host this gathering of award-winning Western re-enactor groups who will perform historic skits and gunfights on Whiskey Row. Participants come from all over Arizona and other Southwestern States. Watch or enter the largest period costume contest in Arizona, which requires authentic 1800s clothing or shop the many vendors of period items. Fundraising activities will include the sales of commemorative T-shirts and tote bags, plus raffle prizes.
August 9th & 10th, 2008 - Vigilante Days, Tombstone, AZ. Vigilante Days honors Tombstone's unique western heritage. Ten kilometer run, historical reenactments on Allen Street, entertainment, hangings, and a chili cook-off.
August 30th & 31st, 2008 - Rendezvous Of The Gunfighters, Tombstone, AZ. Gunfighter groups throughout the US gather in Tombstone to perform. Activities include costume contest parade on Sunday.
October 18th & 19th, 2008 - Helldorado Days Tombstone, AZ. What started out as the town's 50th anniversary celebration in 1929 has turned into its oldest tradition. Activities include: Reenactment and street entertainment, fashion shows, carnival, live music, beard contest and parade on Sunday.
